A perfumed candle, the inspiration of Annick Goutal, a native of Laguiole, who has recreated the scents and aromas that pervade Aubrac and its forests, freshly mown hay, gentian, 'la cistre'. Instructions and advice: do not place the candle in areas exposed to draughts. Burn the candle for 2-3 hours at a time. You can put the candle out once the whole of the surface is liquified and uniform: this is enough to release the perfume. Do not allow the candle to burn to the bottom of its holder as this may heat it; leave 0.5 cms of wax at the bottom of the holder. To avoid the candle giving off smoke when you put it out, dip the wick in the wax and then remove it immediately. Straighten it so that it can easily be re-lit when used again. In order to avoid black smoke, it is advisable to 'pinch off' the wick before relighting it, leaving 1cm and removing the burnt wick. 140gr.
